Disciplinary matters for Pennsylvania state court judges are administered by two bodies. The Judicial Conduct Board is responsible for investigating complaints of misconduct against Pennsylvania judges. If the Judicial Conduct Board finds “clear and convincing evidence” of judicial misconduct, it may file formal charges against an accused judge with the Court of Judicial Discipline, which must hear and decide the charges.
