Overview

The Delaware Attorney General  is the chief law enforcement officer of the of the state.

The Attorney General is sometimes asked to issue written opinions about the constitutionality of a law or other legal matters. These opinions are available on the Attorney General’s Web site in searchable format going back to 1995.  Many of these deal with access to public records issues.

The opinions are also available on in searchable format on Lexis Advance and Westlaw.  Lexis’ coverage goes back to 1968.  West’s coverage goes back to 1977.
