Teaching & Learning Resources: Communicating with Students

A guide to educational resources for teaching and learning in law school.

Zoom Meeting Setup

NOTE: Zoom is for meetings and conferences. It is not intended as a primary means of holding class.

  1. If you do not already have Zoom on your device, you will need to download the software. You can easily find this here https://zoom.us/support/download.
  2. Open the software and click ‘Sign In’.
  3. Instead of entering your email and password on the left hand side, you will need to select the option on the right that says ‘Sign In with SSO’.
  4. Enter ‘drexel’ in the space that requests ‘your company's domain’.
  5. This will prompt your default web browser to open Drexel Connect. Login with your Drexel credentials and follow the prompt that says ‘Open Zoom’.
  6. You will now be logged into the software under your Drexel licensed account. From here you can join, schedule, and start your own Zoom meetings.

So it might be worth suggesting some guidelines for online discussion (BEFORE a flame war engulfs the class).
